View, edit and export your time
To see you time, go to the Tasklist tab on the Outlook ribbon, and click on Show Time.
This will bring up a form displaying your time:
By default, the form shows time entries for all tasks for the past year, grouped by date.
If you want to group by task instead of date, drag the date column out of the group header, and drag the task number or task name header into the group header.
If you want to sort by task and date, first drag the task name or task number header into the group header, then drag the date header into the group header.
You can filter the list to show only a selected task and its children by clicking on the "Filter by task..." button. By default, Tasklist will include all the child tasks of the task you select. If you don't want to see time for the child tasks, uncheck the "Include child tasks" checkbox before filtering.
By default, the date range starts a year ago, and ends today. You can change the date range for time entries by selecting start and end dates from the drop-down calendars.
You can edit a time entry by selecting the entry and clicking on the "Edit time entry" button, or by right-clicking on the entry, and selecting "Edit time entry" from the pop-up menu. This brings up a form from which you can change the task to which the time is assigned, the date of the time entry, the time recorded, or the note for the time entry.
You can delete a time entry by selecting the entry and clicking on the "Delete time entry" button, or by right-clicking on the entry, and selecting "Delete time entry" from the pop-up menu.
You can export your time to a Microsoft Excel workbook by clicking on the "Export time" button. You need to have Excel installed on your computer to do this. Tasklist will export the time entries displayed in the form in the order in which they are displayed.
